The client has outgrown their current property and given the difficulties of moving they opted to extend and improve
their current home.

The existing kitchen is very small and isolated from the rest of the house with a small sitting space impractical for a
growing family.

Our scope was to create a space more suited to modern day living; we achieved this by extending to the rear and
removing specific internal walls. The result is a modern open plan kitchen, dining and living space with a vaulted
ceiling to the rear extension, rooflights and floor to ceiling glazing. The utility is larger with a dedicated boot space and
a shower room opposite.

The external aesthetics are simple using brickwork to match the existing with alternating brick detailing around the
rear sliding doors and kitchen window.

This sensitive design will dramatically improve the quality of life for the clients and enable them to enjoy their property
for the foreseeable future.
